I smile, is a simple book designed to both educate and inspire children. The book was initially a poem, created for a special child who had to receive a shot in the emergency room. Instead of just telling the child to be happy, a small story was written about smiling. The story was meant for the parents to read to their preschool child and to remind them, a smile can be found in a lot of situations. In the book, the reader may find themselves in several difficult situations that in which they must overcome in order to smile, but what is most important, is that reader will always smile for the person to whom they are reading to. It took me over nine years and many, many reversions, to create this book. As the book evolved, I added numbers on the characters, so that the child can count along. I hope you enjoy this book, as so many have in the past. A portion of the proceeds from this book will go to: Thousand Smiles Foundation. A Thousand Smiles Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on less fortunate children in Mexico who suffer from maxillo-facial deformities. We all deserve to smile.
I'll Be There, is designed to teach children that there parents are there for them through loney times, dark times, scary times, frustrating times and sad times. As with all of Dr. TaTa's books, a portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to charity. In dedication to his mother's native country and spirit of giving, a portion of this book's sales proceeds will go to Vietnam Relief Effort (VRE). VRE is a non-profit organization that seeks to bring aid through educational, medical and relief projects to impoverished regions of Vietnam, with the aim to make a long-term difference in the lives of the people of Vietnam by helping to give them the tools and knowledge they need to improve their lives rather than just short-term financial aid.
